Generally several different models share the same base, and some bases are not compatible with the original car, but need to be slightly modified. So it is not the steering wheel itself, but the base that is attached to it that is the key to a steering wheel conversion. Most steering wheel modifications require alterations to the automatic turn signal response; some also require alterations to the horn contacts, which have nothing to do with the steering wheel itself.
